Undue Charges on ABN Amro Bank Credit Card

I had got a Credit Card made from ABN Amro Bank in the year 2006. While the application was filled by the representative of the Bank, I was told that the card was being made life time free of annual charges.

I made some purchases worth Rs.190 approx. from the card. Sometime after I got a call that you have to deposit an amount of Rs.690/-. I told them that I did purchases of only Rs.190/-, then they told that Rs.500 are the late payment charges and the same will be removed in the next bill you just pay Rs.190/-. I deposited the charges by Cheque. But next month I got a statement with more charges. I was very much disturbed. I cut the card in two pieces and sent it to the bank. Later they put on more charges and kept on sending the statements for few months. Then I started getting threatening from the bank to Deposit Rs.2500/- (approx.), which I never had to pay.

Now they have temporarily blacklisted me from getting credit from any bank and threatening for permanent blacklisting.

This is serious. Can you help me on this front?
