The best thing for anyone with problems with them is to FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL because the corporate office is here. TX AG is starting to respond to our complaints. EVERYONE, FILE YOUR COMPLAINT WITH THE TX AG's OFFICE as well as with your respective states.

Your probably better off not having to deal with AHMSI. They are the loan servicing company for two of the many rental properties I own. It October I received a letter from the municipality the rental homes sit in that the houses were due to be sold in a tax deliquent sale the following week...!!??

It turns out AHMSI who holds the escrow account for the taxes and insurance had a LITTLE problem with paying my taxes on the properties that it collects the money for and holds in escrow on my behalf...

I paid the taxes MYSELF the very next day, as AHMSI could not tell me for certain when the taxes would be paid. That was October of 2008.

It is now Jan. 6, 2009 and I have spoken to no less than 22 customer service representatives and one manager/supervisor. I was initially informed on three seperate occasions back when this all started that the supervisor, Allsion Bishop, WOULD NOT SPEAK TO ME!!!???

I am not a yeller or angry person, but this has gotten pretty funny. I have just sent via certified mail (with signature card no less) a letter stating I wish to cancel both escrow accounts and have the monies refunded immediately...

See, even though I paid my own taxes on both properties (roughly 12k) of which they were holding that amount in my escrow account - I have yet to get a penny of it back in refund after being told it was mailed on more than 6 occasions.

It's OK though, I have money...and if I don't get the money by Feb 1st. I have already told my real estate attorney we'll move forward with plans to sue.

I have every date, person spoken to, cell phone records and notes of every phone conversation....

AHMSI - I would stay VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

You have been warned!
