Viking Products and Service Suck
|
RANGE/GAS PROSTYLE and VWH3678SS RANGE HOOD US We also purchased a Viking range in 1999. Never again! This is about the biggest ripoff I've encountered in dealing with an appliance manufacturer. We have written and called Viking with the same result; we received an arrogant reply from Viking and had to shell out another $80+ for another pair of igniters. We are on our third pair in 10 years. How silly of me to expect such an expensive (3965$) appliance from an allegedly reputable firm to function properly for more than a couple of years. Also the hinges on this range failed after 4 years and the controls labeling on the range and hood wiped off when we cleaned the appliance. My previous range was still working fine when we remodled the kitchen and "upgraded" our appliances. It was a 40 year old Westinghouse that I wish we had kept. Buying Viking has been a huge mistake. I'll never recommend their product to anyone. This appliance is way too expensive for such poor quality product and service.
