We accepted the offer and spent over 45 minutes on the call giving and getting information.I was given an installation date of 9/12/08 and told we would receive a call today 9/11 to confirm the installation and be given a time.After waiting all day for a call from Charter I finally called them at 5:00 p.m. I was told that there was not even a service order for our account. Great service! The person I talked to actually wanted to play the same game. He had no idea as to what I had agreed to because the work order had never been placed. He wanted to tell me about some deals he could offer me. I told him no thanks. This seems to be typical in my dealings with charter. I hope my current telephone works after tomorrow. The last step your people directed me to was the automated part about me agreeing to change my telephone service to charter.
