I purchased the Simmons mattress in January 2007 at the cost of approximately $3000.00. It was fine for a few months but then the middle because hard and the sides soft....resulting in a mound in the middle and each side slanting outwards. It has resulted in many sleepless nights and sore backs for my husband and myself. I have called twice to ask for a repair or replacement. Each time they sent an inspector out to measure the mattress. Both times we were refused satisfaction because they said it was not bad enough and because there was a stain which voided our warranty (which was never given to us). I noticed the last time the inspector came out he didnt even measure the middle hump . Simmons referred me back to Leeds. Neither company is honoring their warranties.

I also had a warranty problem with a Simmons product. I paid $45 for an ispection report to be generated for a noisy spring. The 3rd part auditor determined I was entitled to a replacement. Nothing was done or would have been done if I did not go back to the store to initiate the replacement. I was told by the store manager that the delivery charge would be free and I would receive my $45 back. Three months after the process started replacement box springs were delivered but I never received the return of the $45. I again had to go to the store and was then told the $45 would be used for the deliverey charge. Most important is the fact that the new box springs were much louder than the ones they replaced. The problem was never remedied. Now after almost 4 months I have a defective product that cost me $45 and at least 5 trips to the store that resulted in nothing but frustration.

I strongly suggest to not engage in any commerce with Leeds Mattress. Simmons is also at fault as they have no customer service that will assist. They just refer you back to the store. I have never had such an ugly experience with a retailer as I have with Leeds.

I always work with my clients directly.I am sorry that your bed did not meet the warranty card.The factorys do not want to take back stained beds,because over the years they notice that customers stain their bed and want a new one and claim there is something wrong with the mattress.Most stains are urine,which you can not even donate at all.I am willing to see if simmons would make a exception for you.Please call henry at 818-759-7306.Thank you Neil Leeds
