oldsmobile alero general motors US oldsmobile alero has an issue when it reaches a certain mileage that it has a security alert that will not allow the car to start-you have to leave the key in the ignition for 10 minutes to reset the security feature-this is not acceptable- this happens at least once a week to me i have been late to work not to mention being at a gas pump and cant move for 10 minutes-have talked to several other owners that have the same problem-why is there not a recall!!!!!
