We ordered 300 pens with our logo printed in white on blue pens. We received the order on time. However, the pens are designed to be glue together, after printing apparently, and at least 28 out of the 300 were not glued or glued poorly. Several had globs of glue on the pen barrel itself, and a few had scratches in the finish of the pen barrel, extending into the metal itself.


All 300 pens had poor printing quality, with weak ink coverage. Although printing a light cover over a dark color is difficult, I know it's possible, as my wife gave me a sample pen from another company where the white printed solidly and perfectly on blue. The printing on our pens allows the blue base to penetrate through the ink a bit.


In a nod to DiscountMugs.com, ordering was easy, shipping was fast, and a response from their web-only customer service department was timely. However, their credit-only policy, especially considering the problem is the company's fault, is not acceptable.
