Hobbytron.com 525 Park Ave San Fernando, CA 91340 US hobbytron.com I purchased a $200 gas nitro car for my son's birthday. We received 10/28 and it had a broken part so I called them asap. The vehicle mechanically broke down after less than 2 minutes of running on pavement. CS rep was very rude and refused to help via phone. I tried their online chat~ got the same rep who told me to try online. I had to request RMA online and come to find out the same CS rep that was rude to me processes the RMAs and she refused to provide and said she would do so later the next day. Company refused refund or possibly even replacement. I don't want replacement~ their products are JUNK! I just want my money back! I ordered from them for the first time on 12/19/2008. The money for the product was taken out of my bank account on 12/22/2008. I waited... when my order didn't arrive by 1/2/2009/, I called - this was also after several checks on the website as to the status of my order -which kept saying that the order would be processed in a few days. The phone message -from the answering machine- said that someone should be there to answer the phones but, no real person answered. I sent an email via their webpage. I checked the site again later the same day to see if my order had been shipped yet -after the last email. It said that it had been but, I am concerned and will have to wait and see if I actually receive it and what type of condition the product is in. I have never had this much difficulty with an online order and I prefer to order things online. I would not order from them again. I just got excited about the choices of products that they offered and I didn't do any research about this company before I ordered. I understand that this order was placed during the holidays but, there definitely is a lack of ability here(in my situation) to get in contact with a real person and do anything except wait to see when(or if) the order placed will ship/arrive. This is in my opinion and from my perspective. I finally received the product that I ordered on 1/08/2009. It was a helicopter and it did not fly. One of the controls on the remote broke within minutes as well. This was a gift for someone else and now it just sits around broken. I would not order from this company ever again and -after all of the problems receiving this item- I did not bother to try to send the broken product back. Needless to say, my friend who received the gift was disappointed as well.
