TVDVDMania

I order a Boxed set of Simon&Simon Dvd's from above website on October 05/08. Got confirmation for website that I would have my order in 10 - 14 business days. They charged $103 to my credit card, but to date, Nov. 08/08 I haven't received my order. I emailed them 3 times to inquire,but there is no response from them.

I ordered a boxed set of "Paper Chase" TV series and was told on 12/4 that it had been processed and would be received within 10-14 business days. On 12/18, I was told that my order had just shipped and would be received in 9-12 days. My credit card was charged on 12/3. When I checked the status of my order using the tracking number I was given, the USPS web site said it was clearing Customs! On the TVDVDMania site, it says the item is in stock and ready to be shipped. I wish I had known about complaints.com before I placed my order. To make matters worse, this was to be a Christmas gift. I will "Return to Sender" unopened and tell my credit card company I am contesting the charge.

This company is a big rip off. Poor quality DVD copied from live air signal. The DVDs are poorly edited with portions of commercials embedded. Overseas operation with no traceability or recourse. Do not use this website.

Same here...ordered and received the China Beach collection (7-8 days, not bad). But it's taped on VHS off of the History Channels, and the quality is very, very bad. Worse than my VCR ever produced. Bad audio, or bad video, or sometimes both. Missing episode, repeated episode, one disc that doesn't load at all. 3 of the 13 discs are okay, but still only somewhat watchable, somewhat decent VCR quality level with the tv channel logo on screen.

No response to a number of e-mails asking for a return address and a refund. Received order on 11/26, have been trying to reach them since the 28th. They quote 'full refund', 'for whatever reason' on the web site, though they also say within 30 days and within 15 days. Which is it really...and do they ever answer refund and return requests? Starting to seem like they don't.

I am going through the same thing with this company. I am trying to file a complaint with the better business bureau, but I need their address and cannot find it. Does anyone know it? I received my dvds in an old vcr case. How ridiculous! I have emailed countless times. If I dispute the charge with my credit card company, will they be able to get me a refund?

I placed my order Nov 12 and received it approximately on Nov 26 from China. Adresss not ledgable. I ordered the a complete collection of Becker for my Grandma to give as a Christmas present. What a joke!!! Like the above it was taped off TV (Superstation WGN). It would not be so bad if it was not so distorted. I just started email them and keeping a record of what was sent. I'll be contacting my credit card company in a couple of days to make a dispute. If you receive your order--refuse it, they want a signature. RETURN TO SENDER.

I too have had problems getting them to respond to my email. I ordered a box set but did not realized it was simply taped off of TV network! what a joke! i am trying to return it (which they claim you may for a full refund) but they have not responded to my emails in 4 days!
