Verizon Bill in Collections

Verizon Telephone and Internet Verizon US I had Verizon telephone and internet service for a total of 0 (zero) days; I am now in collections. I canceled service three times - I have the names of the representatives, three Verizon's confirmation numbers and three confirmation e-mails from Verizon. I also have a credit voucher number from Verizon for the billed amount. Verizon has a 30 day money back guarantee and I am in collections for services they never rendered! I'd love to hear from anyone else who had a similar issue. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 06-Nov-08 17:34:14 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On ThisSimilar problem, took them at their 30 day trial; used the phone for less than 2 weeks; sent everything back (car charger and case weren't even opened) after talking with a nice representative and getting the OK to do so; got the credit back on the card; thought we were done; then the bills started showing up. We called and explained it just didn't work; dropped calls, poor signal, Verizon was our last hope for cell service in our area - didn't matter to, this time, a very rude person. The problem is we didn't transfer the number to another carrier - (there is not other carrier). So far we ignore the bills from them. (FYI-other than this we have an excellent credit rating.). By the way we tried Alltel first and they were excellent as far as the trial period. Same reception problem - and we were roaming off a Verizon tower - reason we tried Verizon.
