MacBook Pro MB 133LLA Laptop Top Choice Digital 337 E. 89th Street Brooklyn, Ne 11236-0842 US topchoicedigital.com I purchased a "new" Macbook Pro model MB 133LLA laptop on line. When I received it the seal was broken on the box and there were fingerprints on the screen. I called and asked them about this and was given an explanation that this was because they always inspect the computers before shipping them. It seemed far fetched but I dropped it. When I powered up to register the computer I found that it had already been registered to The Guitar Center in a city on Long Island. It was password protected and could not be changed in any way. When I confronted TCD they insisted that the computer was "new". They told me to contact Apple to help get the password changed! I contacted the person on the registration at the Guitar Center, gave him the serial number and he confirmed that it was a "Floor model" that they sold a few months ago. TCD finally gave in and agreed to refund my money without a "re-stocking fee". However, they then charged me the original shipping fee. I am out both shipping fees. These people are so sleazy it is amazing that they are still in business.
