Liquor Chins Palace 2241 S. El Camino Real Oceanside , CA 92056 US www.visitchins.com/l_oceansidePalace.html On Saturday, October 11th 2008 I went to Chin's Palace for karaoke night. I was with a large party and we placed many orders through the night. Fully realizing that we would be ordering drinks throughout the night I opened a tab. At the conclusion of the night I requested the bill. The bill seemed high so I asked for the itemized bill so that I could check to see what we were being charged for. After looking through the bill I found multiple charges of drinks that we had not ordered. When I approached the waitress about the orders that we had not placed, she commented that we had been going back and forth to the bar ordering drinks from the bartender, and that most of the charges were from those orders. I asked the bartender why I was being charged for drinks that I never ordered and she replied that she made all those drinks throughout the night. I told her that she might have made those drinks but not for our party and that I should not be paying for other peoples drinks. She walked off and ignored my response and charged my cousin and my card for half of the bill each. The overall cost was $164. I was charged for products that I never received and the customer service to my complaint was handled in a very unprofessional manner. The employees referred to above are as follows: waitress- Vickey, Bartender-Crystal. This one was taken to the San Digeo BBB for a determination. They concluded Chin's Palace did nothing wrong and that this complaint was not justified. Due to the large number of drinks consumed by this indivuial their perception of what was consumed and by whom was not reliable and that Chin's Staff maintained the proper level of professionalisum rquired to end this type of conflict. We are sorry for the event ....and to prevent this from happening in the future this cliet will be required to pay for each drink as it is served...NO TABS.
