Bought a Laurel House double wide manufactured by colony factory crafted homes from camelot/honeymoon homes of Littleton NH. It was set on my foundation December 23, 2002 by camelot's set-up crew. In February 2003 water started coming in through the kitchen exaust vent, through the microwave, onto the stove and then to the kitchen floor. Both camelot and colony were notified of this problem and other leakage problems! Every winter the snow melting on the roof causes 3' to 10' ici-cles to hang from the roof and ice dams on the roof's edge. The water from the ice dams, back up under the shingles and water drips down inside the walls, window frames, under the kitchen cabinets, sink and stove. Water can be seen coming down and saturating the exposed insulation in the basement studded wall.Water can't be seen but you can hear it dripping down inside the finished walls. Here it is Monday, November 03, 2008 and the snow is coming and camelot/honeymoon the dealer who told me that the colony double wide, was a good investment, well built and insulated and didn't cost much to heat, Hasn't done a dam thing to fix the problem!. Neither has the manufacturer colony factory crafted homes of Shippenville, PA. Can't sell the house with this condition. The bottom front and back siding was never installed, the set-up crew told me that the factory didn't make provisions for it! The serviceman from the factory said there no reason why camelot's crew couldn't install the bottom siding and he wasn't going to do it because it was the dealers responsibility! Who would buy a house that leaks every winter and some year will be destroyed by water damage? I have dealt with "Lip Service People" who after the sale and you"ve signed an arbitration agreement, could give a shit about your problems! Check with a lawyer about signing an arbitration agreement before signing one! This was suppose to be my retirement home! Boy! did they give me screwing with this double-wide!
