A RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT # 175448. THIS SITE ALLOWS FOR NOTFICICATION if posting against a company. DAVID COURTER DID NOT CHECK OFF THE NOTFICATION BOX as to notify us he was doing so knowing the story he told was false.

Here is the actual FINDINGS FROM THE BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU OF CONNECTICUT of 94 SOUTH TURNPIKE ROAD, WALLINGFORD, CONNECITCUT 06492 TELE# (203)269-2700. CASE ID # 84040746

Since doing a search across the internet to make sure advertisers were doing the job we had paid for, I came across this slanderous ad against my company. The person that put in the complaint to serveral entities as to try to destroy our reputation, failed to mention the actual facts. HE claimed that he was going to update the website but to date has not. David courter entered into a contract with ERIC's LANDSCAPING, LLC on March 25, 2008. IT was written into the contract that Eric was to start work sometime in late APRIL 2008. Due to inclimate weather we were unable to start the work. Furthermore in a letter to the BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU David Courter state that we had contacted him to let him know the status of the start date. Since there was a delay due to circumstances beyond our control he did not accept this and wanted to cancel the contract. The Contract CLEARLY STATES there is a 3 DAY RESCISION PERIOD in which the client has the right to rescind. WE ALSO MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO BE FAIR and we ONLY ask for a 10% deposit up front to make sure the client is serious and if the client fails to send a written cancellation (this was the case) within 3 days we reserve the right to keep the deposit. Our company has always been fair and honorable. A contract is supposed to protect both parties involved and what good is a contract to the owner of a the business if the client does not want to agree to the terms of the legal document they signed. The print is not small for anyone who would request a copy and we are upfront about this and always have been. $1304.00 was the deposit in this case for this particular job. It is a large sum of money for any hardworking person. Is it fair for the contractor who has spent money and precious time away from his small children? In this case we feel we have been more than fair. We have a copy of the CERITIFED BANK CHECK THAT WAS RETURNED FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT $1304.00 to DAVID COURTER. HE IS OBVIOUSLY NOT a MAN of HIS WORD AND would caution doing business with him. SINCE ON THIS SITE HE SAID HE WOULD UPDATE AND DID NOT! WE HAVE NOT ONLY THE BANK CHECK but the ORIGINAL CONTRACT SIGNED AND DATED BY DAVID COURTER and also a letter from THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU OF CONNECTICUT ISSUED THIS DISPUTE RESOLVED!!!!!! IF ANYONE WOULD QUESTION OUR COMPANY WE WOULD BE MORE THAN WILLING TO SUBMIT THE EVIDENCE! ERIC's LANDSCAPING, LLC WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE COMPLAINT THAT DAVID COURTER submitted REMOVED AGAINST OUR COMPANY's NAME or we would sue for SLANDER.
