Cancellation fee

Netzero Internet Services Woodland Hills, CA US Netzeronet I signed up for a free trial of Netsero with the understanding that I could try it for 3 months. After one month I was billed $9.95 twice on the same day. When I called to ask why I was charged $9.95 twice before my 3 months were up, I was told that the second charge was a mistake and that i would get credited for that, but that trial was for only 1 month. I was not happy with the service and so I cancelled had them assured me that I would no receive anymore charges on my credit card, as I have heard of instances where Internet companies continue to charge their customers after cancelling. So, they gave me theirassurance that it would not happen. However, when I got my next month's statement there was a charge for $25.00. When I called to complain zI was told was a cancellation fee, and despite my complaints they refused to give me a refund, and the person that I spoke to was not professional in dealing with this matter. So,if you're consider signing up for an Internet Service, do not consider Netzero. Their web sit is not only confusing, surfing is unusually slow and so are downloads. So, save your money. Their cancellation service charge is a fraud. I have never heard of a service that charges a fee for cancelling their service. So, beware of Netzero. Do not even consider their service. I was able to get AOL with unlimited access for $11.95 a month, and it is much faster than Netzero who claims that their $9.95 service is ahigh speed service. So don't waste your money on Netzero.
