Aspire Visa - How did I get it?

I've been getting a huge bill from Aspire through Midland Credit Management. Here's the thing - I never had a card from Aspire. I had one from another company, but not Aspire. I can't get anyone to even provide a history of activity on the account. If I could get that, I might be able to determine whether the first bank sold my account to Aspire or if Aspire just saw it out in cyberspace and decided to bill me. From now on, IF I even bother to get a credit card in the future, I will most certainly make sure it is from a well-known, reputable bank.
