Fraudulent Life Insurance Policy sold in 1986 by NY Life I had purchased a whole life policy in 1986 thru an agent in Chicago who informed me that I would be required to make the payments for first 5 years at a highr rate and subsequent to that i will not need to make any futre payments and I would be covered for the life. But to my astonishment, I was informed by NY Life that I had to continue paying the premiuns even after the payments that I was required to make for the first few years. Later, I had to relocate abroad for a few years. I have now learnt that a class action suit was filed against the company and most of the people recovered their settlement from the company. I did not learn of this settlement until recently as my agent or the company failed to inform me. I have recently talked to the agent and even written to the company but they do not seem to respond. I would appreciate any help so that I get justice in this matter. Thanking you. - Ashok From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Friday, 09-May-08 18:30:51 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
