Wasauna steam shower

Some - maybe all of wasauna's products do not meet UL or Asni standards. they will sell you the product tell you they will mail you out the certification you need they never send out the proper UL or ansi approval forms which is required by your local city plumbing inspector to accept. Basically they will say anything to sell these products that are made in china and do not meet US standards in many US. cities. I have documents form the state inspectors rejecting their product. Buyer beware these products are not worth the money

I have a Wasauna Tours which is about 3 years old and the rear stationary panel just exploded inward. The doors were closed at the time so the shattering glass was contained within the shower. I have just contacted Wasauna to see what they will do for me as I could understand if I hit the panel but this came out of nowhere.

We paid over 4k for our steam shower, fine for the first 7 months (besides some minor nagging leaks). Then, when nobody was even in the bathroom, one of the fixed glass panels shattered. Contacted Wasauna, they had no comment except to quote me the price on a new glass panel. We opted to go through a local glass company and give them the business, but we needed the seals from Wasauna, which they did agree to send at no charge. Months later, finally the seals arrived, but one was not even close to the right size. Have now been waiting over a month for the correct seal, when at 2am in the morning, one of the glass doors shattered! Same thing! Sent pics to Wasauna via email, they did not contact me, had to contact them. Their response was the same, we can sell you a new door!

This company is bogus! They are out for your money and once they have it, they don't care about customer satisfaction or safety for that matter. If someone would have been in the shower - or even in the bathroom, there most definately would be injury involved.

Because of this, I don't trust this $4300 Wasauna Florence Steam Shower. I am tossing it, taking the loss and building a tile shower.

Don't waste your time or $ with Wasauna!
