Maxtor Personal Storage

I have purchased two Maxtor products and found that they did not last more than three hours each before they went down the tubes. I e-mailed Maxtor to bad they are out of warranty, whoops! pardon me for expectiong an external storage unit to last more than three hours. Do not buy Maxtor products.

My Maxtor external hard drive died twice in one year. Both times I lost everything, now when I go to Warranty it is telling me I am out of it, the reason I bought this was to protect my data. Never will I buy Maxtor or Seagate products again
