UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT CHECK BY TOYOTA SOUTH OF MORROW GEORGIA

Dear Sir/Madam

I was informed by a Credit Card Company that I was denied credit because

there was one too many inquiries made on my credit history.

Consequently, I found out from TransUnion that Toyota South of 6865

Jonesboro Road Morrow-- GA-- 30260, did make an INQUIRY ON 03/28/2008 ,

and this was completely unknown to me and without my permission.

This inquiry was made the same day I visited the Company to collect a

prize.

I had received a flier from the Company which stated that I was entitled

to a prize. When I visited, I was told that I had to register before

being able to receive the prize, which was identified as a Wal Mart gift

card of an unknown amount. During the registration process, I was

offered to purchase a car, which I promptly declined. The sales person

and one other official tried getting me to change my mind, but I

insisted that I was only there to collect the prize At this point I was

told that all the prizes were already distributed and none was available

for me.

I left the premises only to find out some time later that the Company

had actually checked my credit during the time they were registering me

to collect the prize. As stated before this was unknown to me and

without my authorization.

I had since contacted the Company trying to find out why my credit was

checked. First there was a denial that any such thing was done, and when

I mentioned the evidence from TransUnion, the official claimed that the

registration process was their clue to check my credit.

I am seeking some form of satisfaction and for this Company to be

sanctioned for their dishonesty and deception. They should also remove

the inquiry from my credit history in order for my credibility to be

restored
