Tom Masi Auto Sales 201 East 26th Street Erie, Pe 16504 US tommasiauto.com We bought a Jeep Liberty off Tom Masi on January 3, 2008, the car was totaled 2 months later. I had purchased a warranty from Tom Masi and upon reading the warranty was due a refund from the Warranty company since the car was a total loss and I had documentation. I sent a letter to the Warranty company and was told a check was issued April 15, and since I bought the warranty from Tom Masi, they would send the check to him and he would forward it to me. After numerous phone calls to him since April 20 I was told numerous lies by him about my check wasnt in his system or he would send it the following week and I never received it, and even when I told him I would pick it up myself I was lied to when he told me it wouldnt be ready. So earlier that same day I called the warranty company asking for there help in getting my money and threatening to contact the attorney generals office, when I got home, I had a message on my machine from Tom Masi saying the check was ready and I could pick it up, even though he knew I lived 45 minutes away and wasnt about to make a trip back that way, but he did say he would mail the check the next morning and I now have the check. The second part of this story is that although I bought the warranty on Jan. 3, 2008, he took his time in getting it to the warranty company and the inservice date was January 31, the car was totaled on March 20, 2008 so although I only count two months of using that policy he subtracted 3 months of usage before issuing my check, needless to say the next email I'm writing is to the Erie, PA better business bureau.
