It's NOT Funny It's Child Abuse Americas Funniest Home Videos
|
So called Funny Video moments US My Family and I use to love to sit in front of the tv and watch different videos sent in some were hilarious, however one we saw was obvious child neglect and imo child abuse..it was of a small boy on a roller coaster someone sitting across from him was video taping him as he rode the ride..that poor little boy was sliding from under the safety belt and harness and screaming bloody murder "I'm falling help me I'm gonna fall" yet they kept taping and did nothing to help him..the poor little thing was crying, his litte face red sweaty and scrunched up in fear was crying soo hard he was gasping..his little hands were white from holding onto the safety belt as he slowly sank from under the harness and belt his cruel relatives were laughing like maniacs and taping him. The video actually ends with the belt and harness wrapped around his head and neck flailing his arms looking for something or someone to grab hold of, no one would help him they were too busy laughing one person said "oh we have GOT to send this in to Americas Funniest Home Videos" someone else said "are you taping" then I heard a voice saying "yea I'm getting all of it"..I promptly complained to the powers that be and to the tv station..I was told the tv station manager the following week made an on air apology for the previous episodes content..he must have gotten alot of complaints..I was also told the producers and the powers that be for "Americas Funniest Home Videos" had their Host Bob Saget read a statement of apology on the following weeks show..they said the video was done in poor taste and shown in even poorer taste..he apologized and said he himself would monitor all content from then on..the Host Bob Saget left the show soon after..not sure if that was the reason..but I stopped watching AFHV that first night and will never watch it again..allegedly the Parents and Relatives there that night filming the video were invetsigated for Child abuse and neglect that video was used against them in court..not sure the outcome, but I hope that poor little thing is ok..
