No ability to download purchased protection

I renewed my antivirus on Feb. 11. Since I am on dialup I could not download the program. I notified tech support and was told to download somekind of Accelerator Plus which did nothing to help. I asked for a refund and was told that since it was past 30 days (as I had gone away on vacation in the middle of this mess) that I could neither redownload or get a refund. I sent all the correspondence and received an email from someone named Byron GO that they usually tell dialup customers that they have to purchase the cd in order to use - which I was not told. He said I would be receiving a cd in 5-7 days. Have heard or seen nothing for 2 months. I just noticed that they also acknowledged my order and said since I agreed (which I did NOT)_to automatic update and billing each year, that they would bill my credit card when it needs renewing-- so now I'll be paying for absolutely NOTHING forever?? How does this company get away with this deception and how do I get my money back and rid myself of them? I will go back to Norton - it works!
