I went to Jcpenny hair salon to have foils (highlights) put into my hair for an upcoming wedding I was in. I was with a "Master", i qoute, hair colorist. Whatever, the hell that was supposed to mean.. I was a bit skeptical being when I told the stylist the shades of highlights I wanted, and she started asking me what mix and product was used previously..

I had explained that I had no idea being this is not my proffession. Anyhow, she just decided to pretend she knew what she was doing from there, instead of being honest with herself and me, that she was not capable of doing my foils.

Never the less, she proceeds to mix, what smelled of Bleach, as she unevenly sectioned off my hair to foil. Now, my gut is telling me- RUN... But, I knew I had to be in a wedding in 2 weeks and wanted to freshen up my hair. So, I ignored my gut! ARGH!!

Needless to say, 2 hours in and results of uneven pink highlights was not what I was looking for. After attempting to tone the highlights down, several times and with several other stylists.. I had enough!!! I went to the manager in tears showing her what had been done to my hair- from her supposedly "Master" hairstylist.

The manager recommended I come back the next day to see their "Senior Master" Colorist. Okay, so I head home in tears, anticipating the next day to turn my semi-pinkish/green hair back to light brown..

It was a long night and now finally time to go back to Jcpennys salon to straighten this whole mess out. The manager and Senior Master colorist are assuring me that they can fix this.. Again, 2 hours in and my hair smelling of chemicals.. I look in the mirror and my hair is a dull greenish grey!!!

I am livid... I immediately asked for a refund and walked out!! I will never go there again!!

Luckily, I found the perfect stylist at Regis to fix my hair to look decent enough to walk down the aisle as a bridesmaid...

Until, this day I have dry damaged hair and fear ever having any treatment done to my hair... I always had thick, healthy and shiny hair.. I now have dry cracked hair, but it is finally back to its natural color..

My lesson- Master,Senior,etc.. stylist- Doesnt mean anything unless the stylist has a reputable clientale....
