CA Licensing Rip Off

I bought the CA Anti-Virus software from their online store. When I got round to installing it, I saw that the updates were due to expire 1 year from the purchase date, rather than 1 year from when I installed and registered the software.

If I had bought the anti-virus software in the high street, would the updates have expired 1 year after the purchase date? Of course not.

Having contacted CA customer support they are not at all interested in my complaint.

Needless to say, I won't be buying from them again.
