Privacy Violations

I went on a short four days vaction,I paid my NYSEG Bill which was due, I also called and spoke with a representative (@ 1-888315-1755)letting her know that I had mailed my check, I gave my info. including the amount of the check and the check number. She then made a note to my account of such.(so she said)

I left for my short vacation on 4/27/08 early in the A.M.

I returned on 3/2/08, only to find a pink slip on the floor in front of my apartment door labeled "72 Hour Notice"

the notice displays my name and billing address, account number, my payment amount required or else my service will be terminated all for everyone who pass by my appt. to pick up and read at there convenience.

Considering the fact that my payment and the notice crossed each other some how (imagine that), however I personally have a problem with this for I do not need my neighbors knowing my personal affairs,nor do I knowing theirs.I strongly believe this is a violation of ones privacy.
