Don't use "A Plumber in 1 Hour" or their plumbers

This are the most vicious people I have even seen. This is kind of a long story so I don't even know how to explain my emotions well, So forgive my writing that follows.

I found this company on the website and called them to replace shutoff valves for the kitchen sink and dishwasher in my downtown condo. Initially when I scheduled the appointment I was quoted just $155 to change both the valves.

Their plumber was talking normal and all until he came to work in my unit. The work was being done there while I was at my work. The plumber also asked me in the phone where he can park and I told thim how I normally park with the flashers on in the street.

Then in the middle of my lunch. I get a call from their plumber telling that cold water valve is installed work is done and he started yelling at me for suggesting to park in the street. Even though I am not responsible for their parking I suggested that as a goodwill. He said while parked his van was broken into and the GPS was stolen and it was all because of me. Who in the right mind would leave their GPS(hot item for theives!) in the City, albeit in the suburbs in a car in a open view!!

He started to demand payment of originally agreed $165(even though previously quoted amount was $155) and other additional charges $19.99(fuel charge) and $25 charge for the valve & supply line parts. I definitely was not notified of this other charges at the time of quote.

As I am talking, I just realized that the guy has installed only 1 valve instead of both valves. I tried to tell the guy to go back and install the other valve as well before I make a payment. But he insisted that I shall make the whole payment right away.

But he was tallking real crazy and try to threaten me that he will call the COPS if I don't pay him immedialtely!! I was trying to get the guy to calm down and call me back later. The guy was not willing to listen kept interepting my lunch and was only interested in the full payment for the Half job done. Eventually he said he waive the fuel charge and I shall make a payment for remaining $165+ $24.99 = $189.99. Finally I decided to get the guy off my back and made the payment.

Later on I called their company and complained about the situation. I was told that someone callback to resolve this.

Eventually someone calls me back claiming to be the supervisor and that he will come out and fix the 2nd valve but with additional charges! This plumber#2 is even more vicious than the 1st plumber. I told him if they don't fix the 2nd valve I would dispute the charges with my credit card. He even started claming that he was a witness siting right next to him while the plumber#1 was quoting for only 1 valve and would even come to court to testify. What a team of liars!! He was using the tactic that he would take me to court if I dispute the charges. This talk went back and forth and eventually I have to agree for additional $25 he would come and install the 2nd valve and nothing more.(God! I don't want to bring another plumber to do this and pay them another $190!!).

The 2nd plumber comes into the lobby of my condo. When I meet him there he told me that I need provide him parking(Here we go again). He even claimed that I agreed over the phone for this. I was shaking my head in dis-belief, how could these guys doing business yell out such a cold lie. .... What the heck! I eventually negotiate with these crooks again to sit and watch his car while he is fixing the plumbing....

Finally the 2nd plumber installs the 2nd valve and make him a payment of $25 and he walks away.

Now later in about a week I going over by credit card bills and I see that there is a charge for $25 from these people again....
