Sleepless nights/ Poor service in room 337

Hilton Hotels 202 Hilton Road Tumon Bay, Gu 96913 US I am traveling from my home in Maui Hawaii to Depensar Indonesia via Guam with Continental Airlines as my carrier. My flight was overbooked in Honolulu and Continental Airlines arranged for a wonderful room at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki where I stayed awaiting my flight the following day. Unfortunately the flight which should have only stopped over in Guam was delayed for the night.I was given a hotel voucher for the stay at the Hilton Guam which is where the problem starts. The check-in time was 50 minutes of standing in the lobby after 9 hours of flying. When I arrived at my room, all appeared to be well until I realized that the beds (2 twins) had no mattresses only the box springs. I called the front desk only to be told that there were no other rooms available as well as no mattresses. By this time it is after 9:00 p.m. after 10 hours of air flight and shuttleing, needless to say I am ready for a good nights sleep. I have taken photographs of the supposed sleeping accomodations and intend on sending photos to the Hilton Hotel headquarters as we as to Continental Airlines so that they might review who they trust their stranded customers to for a good nights sleep. It is 3:00 a.m. needless to say I will depart the Hilton hotel in the morning in search of a replacement hotel for this less than professional experience. I suggest that Hilton Hotels review this complaint and act on it promptly as I fully intend on filing a COMPLAINT with both Continental and Hilton upon my return to Hawaii From: Message Author (click here to email author) (has asked not to receive email)Date: Thursday, 06-Mar-08 12:48:41 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
