Holiday inn Collinsville IL (thief's)

I stayed at the hotel and had 3 rooms. I left my digital camera on the desk in the middle room. I called less than an hour after I checked out to tell them and they told me it was not found. I asked to talk to the housekeeper Ashley said no I asked for the persons name she said I can't. I asked to talk to a manager Ashley said he was out of town till Monday and gave me his voice mail. No one called me I called on Wednesday and talked to Nancy she said she would look into it and call me back. She didn't call me. I called Thursday and talked to Tim who is the General manager and he said he would have Nancy call me. She called me back and said the staffing company said they don't have it so I should call the police. Then Tim calls me back and leaves a voice mail. He say sorry you lost your camera, but we are not liable because it is your word against ours and we are sorry. I am so mad right now that after 5 days of giving me the run around they say oh sorry were not responsible. So if your a housekeeper it is OK to steal because you wont be held responsible. I am out a 300.00 camera and they say say too bad.
