On October 4, 2007 Aqua Maid came to installed a water softner system in our home. When they arrived the installers had no company trucks or uniforms to identify themselves. They were very unprofessional in their actions and dress. I had to loan them my own personal tools to complete instillation, because they had insufficient equipment. When installed the machine was not balance and was in the way of my hot water heater and furnace. When brought to the installers attention he reassured us it would be fine. When questioned he also promised that we would also recieve the other products promised they were just on back order. (coupons, cookware and shower heads) On October 10,2007 we were woken to all of our smoke detectors going off throughout our home. Realizing that the pipes to out water softner had exploded in our basement. Not being able to silence our alarms and wondering if any other problems existed we had Hebron

Fire Dept. dispatched. They identified the problem "shorted out smoke detector" due to all the water damage. We called our salesman Leo whom put us into contact with Pat Ellis the owner of the company. Pat contacted us personally and reassured us that we would be reimbursed for our trouble and he would be able to take a look at our mess himself. Two days later he flew from Jacksonville Forida to visit our home to survey the damages. He offered us 550.00 to repair damages(cleaning carpets, water extraction, drywall repalacement if needed, smoke detector) And the products originally promised in the first contract. It has been several months now and several phone calls later to Mr. Pat Ellis and all we have recieved is a run around. We have kindly asked him to remove his system from our home and wipe our slate clean. We want no dealing with a company who treats their costomers this way. Because now several months later we have still not recieved shower heads, the rest of our coupon books, gift card, and last but not least our reimbusement check.
