HP Compaq 6510b HP Compaq Business Computers US After 6 months of below-normal use of my Compaq 6510b business computer the left click key did not spring back up. Sent to HP. After hours and hours on line, escalating this to a Case Manager, still no resolution. They wanted $209 to repair it saying that the tech classified it as "accidental". The case manager then said it was "wear and tear" (after 6 months?) and then changed it to "abuse" (I'm a 51 year old female not prone to abusing my technology). Was told case mgr would call in 24-48 hours - it was 57. Case Mgr said he'd call me back within the hour...3 days later I called HIM!. He told me he'd send pics. 8 days later I got them...with arrows labeling 'down' on the left click button. 3 weeks later I got my computer back..unrepaired. Next steps, letters to top people (not optimistic), then calling sales to tell them I want to return it. Then to small claims court as someone on Complaints.com had success with this.
