Deplorable buisness practice!

On Wednesday March 27th at approximently 7:30 p.m. I called Boch dealership of Norwood, Massachusetts and spoke with a sales rep. Chris White. I explained to him that I was aware that Boch was advertising a Prius for $19,800 and I wanted to know if he had any available. He stated very readily that he had all the colors I inquired about as well as others. I told him I was from western Mass. and that I would be down tomorrow around five or six. Thats over a hundred miles each way. Thursday March 28th I left work four hours early to drive down to Boch's in Norwood at 1:pm and I spoke to a salesman by the name of LLoyd and explained to him about my call to the dealership and that I wanted to know where the Prius's for $19,800 were because thats what I was looking for. He said have a seat as he checked his computer and my information popped up on the computer verifying that I had called the previous night. I asked him if he had any Prius's at the price that I had seen on the add and had inquired about and he said they did not have any. Then he proceded to talk to me and state that the Prius's he did have started out at $23,900 and I again asked him about the advertised cars that now all of a sudden were not at the dealership? He again stated there were none and at that point I cut him off and held up my hands and said "I'm leaving.I got up and walked out the front door, humiliated. Never have I been so fraudulently buffaloed in my life. These people don't care about their customers or even treating them with respect. A freind of mine warned me before I went there that his wife was almost in tears and he was disgusted with the pressure that this dealership had put on him on a recent visit. Caveat emptor! This buisness is dispicable and I hope I can stop many people from dealing with these creeps. Thank god; I found a dealer locally the next day that treated me as a person and not a number. I bought a car from them and you should too. Lia Toyota in Northampton put Boch to the shame that they deserve. After this rotten experience, a big shot from Boch called me and after I told him what had happened he stated that he would'nt do that to someone who lived a street away from the place, mmmmm.
