Cigarette Prices/Carlise, PA Walmart

Walmart advertises lowest prices available. So tell me why they can

charge $5.15 + Tax for Marlboro cigarettes in a market where they are

available for anywhere from $4.01 to $4.65. They are $4.17 + tax just

13 miles away at their Shippensburg store. It really kinda makes me

feel like I'm being ripped off - like cigarettes aren't high enough

without them adding $1.00. I think I will be looking for a similar

Carlisle store to shop at where I can get the other stuff I need AND

my cigarettes at the lowest prices. If they rip me off this badly on

cigarettes, I'm sure they are ripping me off on other things too. The

answer as to the high prices at Carlisle Customer Service was that they

set their prices the same as Giant's (who, by the way, don't advertise

"lowest prices"). Perhaps they should be setting the prices by Walmart

standards.
