CONSUMER BEWARE

If you are considering using this company/contractor, read further, look at the unfinished product built for me (see my pics or links below), and then ask yourself:

Is it worth spending my hard earned money to hire Waterfalls and Landscapes by Design to install my "oasis in the desert" and take the chance that it could turn out to be a nightmare like Sandi's "backyard paradise"?

This contractor took my money and left me with an unfinished and unuseable waterfall, stream and koi pond. Check with Arizona Board of Contractors for more information and other complaints.

I met Bob at his display at the Landscape Fair at the Fairgrounds in September 2006 (says he used to play for the Phoenix Suns). Gave him a $20 check to show I was serious about having the work done (check never returned). My backyard was going to be my own personal paradise. I gave them a deposit October 17, 2006; project started November 17, 2006; January 12, 2007 filed my complaint with the Board of Contractors; and as of March 2008, it is still not resolved. This was a 2-week project!!!

I have paid him $6,655 out of the $6,900 contract and below are some pics of my "personal paradise": (see my pics or links at bottom)

The pond does not hold water and completely drains in 30 days. Found numerous leaks around skimmer.

Connection inside skimmer came apart causing water to shoot up in the air and could not pump water to waterfall.

Skimmer lid does not fit and the skimmer is missing major parts.

The liner is exposed in numerous places. Edges are unfinished.

Mortar on pipes and falls is cracking.

Piping is coming up through bottom of pond, stream, and base of waterfall.

Dirt from project left in front and side yards.

If this is what I get for $6,900, what are you going to get for the $2,200 show special?
