Weddings on the Move US I hired this company (president is Patti Metzger) to plan my destination wedding in Martinique. I hired her because I am a resident physician and did not have time to make a lot of the phone calls and research. Unfortunately, this agency caused me more trouble than it was worth. They have TERRIBLE customer service and are slow to reply to email and phone. I ended up calling them multiple times and leaving messages in order to see where the planning process was. It took 7 weeks for a solid response, then I was blamed for the delay, because I supposedly chose a venue that was not accomodating. I later called the venue myself and ended up making my own wedding arrangements, which took less than a week. This agency is unprofessional and very disorganized with paperwork. It took her 6 weeks to email me a copy of the wedding agreement. When I finally terminated the agreement out of frustration, Patti refused to refund my $500 deposit. I paid $500 to her to plan my own wedding! The worst part of all of this was Patti's lack of apology for what had happened. She felt she had done an excellent job. On what?--Is my question.
