Outrageous airline policy

Outrageous airline policy While vacationing on the island of Vieques in Jan this year our beach = bag, which also had our airline tickets in it, was stolen. A few days later when we arrived at the Vieques Air Link desk in the = small airport there we were informed we must buy two more tickets to = replace the lost ones. This, despite the fact that they had a record of = us already paying for the tickets that were stolen. It was "company = policy" we were told in no uncertain terms, that lost tickets would not = be honored, even though they knew you had already paid for them. I have = checked and can find no other airline with this policy. I think it is = outrageous and dishonest to take advantage of customers this way. I hope you agree. Bud Stuart Santa Barbara. Air Panama, Nature Air, Taca's little domestic airlines. Nothing new outside the US.
