Non Delivery of Rug

9x12 rug Rug by Rug 194 Main Street Norwalk , CT 06851 US www.rugbyrug.com In December I ordered a rug from RugbyRug.com. They looked like an established dealer(since 1954 according to the BBB) in Connecticut. On December 12 the rug was paid for in full, to be delivered within 3 weeks. Despite many inquiries by email since January 9, my rug has not yet shipped. I have maintained an email record of our communications. Every few weeks they respond with a new excuse--they moved their office in January, the phones were down, etc etc. They promise a new delivery date each time. The last was that they would definitely, absolutely ship by March 3. However, since that date I have not received a tracking number nor any other communication. I think I've been quite patient considering it has been more than 3 months since they deposited my money and I have a 9x12 bare floor waiting. By the way, I see on this site that another complaint was lodged just months ago against a company called Rug Sale Direct, which was located at the same address. I contacted the BBB and they helped me up to a certain point (which means that I still did not receive a refund). I finally contacted by credit card company...they took care of my reimbursment. No problem. It was not delivered for next 3 month and they kept making excuses that it was on its way etc etc but after Christmas I cancelled it and asked them to refund my money. They sent me an email saying it has been refunded, ofcourse now after more than 8 months I still have not received my money or the rug. The website doesn't exist anymore and everyone related to the company has disappeared. I sent them numerous emails and called every other day but this business has probably vanished somewhere...
