Rude customer service

I was treated very rudely this morning when I went in for gas on the way to work. There was a cashier (who was appropriate) and a clerk standing next to the cashier. The clerk was chit chatting about her personal life, and when I placed my order for gas, she became enraged at me for interrupting her chatting with the cashier. Excuse me for ordering gas! As I went out to my car, she was still talking in a denouncing way about me for interrupting her chit chat with the cashier as I attended to my business. When I asked for her name, she declined to give it to me, and she declined to give me the full name of the manager, also. I had patronized this gas station for a couple of years, so was shocked at this very rude treatment.
