LINKSYS WIRELESS ROUTER
|
US My router, I guess has died, as of this morning. I called my internet service provider and we went through several steps to see if the problem was on their end. After determining the problem was my router, I received the number for Linksys customer service. After giving the representative my serial number, she informed me that as my warranty had expired, she could only help me if i was willing to pay $32 dollars. It saddens me that companies today are so money hungry and that customer service has taken a back seat. I am a FT college student with limited income, need my internet for school, am just extremely saddened by this situation. After a cluster .... of instructions (connection switching, trying to get lights after disconnecting the power (???), it was determined that the router is no good, and I have to buy a new one. First I have to go thru another department, in order to get a $15 rebate for a new router, since the departments are not allowed to talk to one another. Ask for supervisor, and you get left on hold for the buzzards to eat your dried up carcus.
