Glasses are backed by a 1 year warranty. These Chinese made 300 USD sunglasses broke. However sending them in to get repaired, results in no response, no phone calls back, long hold times on the phone without ever getting connected. My limit was 30 minutes. Basically they offer the same quality and service as any other 5 dollar Chinese made sun glasses. As of this writing it has been 2 weeks with no response.

Dear Daran,

My name is John Hofmann and my first job (17 years ago) was selling sunglasses at Sunglass Hut. I must have sold a million pairs of Revos...you guys make a great pair of sunglasses. I have since bought about 5 pairs of my own, and pairs for family and friends.

I recently bought a pair (first time) of your polycarbonate at Sunglass Hut...very light. The store boasted of their durability, although I was skeptical of the plastic lenses. I was assured that they would stand the test of time. I needed a light pair of sunglasses for a trip around the world...I am currently in Thailand.

The other day, I dropped them for the first time. I've dropped some of my others accidentally (between you and I, I actually ran over my first pair with my car by accident...no scratches on the lenses...amazing), but I don't make a habit of it. I take good care of my stuff. Anyway, the first three foot drop on the trail was fatal. Scratches galore. I am so disappointed...I wasn't expecting this to happen.

I brought them to a store in Bangkok, but they said that since they're plastic, I'm better off just throwing them away. Throw them away? Revo?

I would greatly appreciate your help and advice, and I look forward to hearing back soon.

Respectfully,

Dr. X

Note: So far, no response. Revo is going down hill, and fast. I have lost faith in this company, and so should you. I just can't believe that a company that I've spent thousands on wouldn't even have the common courtesy to return my email.

This just shows you how corporate America works. Gain their loyalty, then betray them. Well, I am lo longer their customer. LL bean or backcountry.com is a better long-term choice since all their products have lifetime guarantees.

I am writing this letter as a long time Revo Sun Glass customer. I have owend serveral pairs of these glases over the years and have been very pleased and have recomended these glases to several of my friends. I have had wonderful luck with all of the pairs pryor to this last pair that I purchased the 3075 with the flexible frames and blue polorized lenses. The frames are fantastic, but the lenses have been antoher story. I have purchased two pairs of these glases in the past year and a half and have antoher issue with the lens (small scatches, chips, etc) I am an avid case to face wearer and take great care of my shades-I can't live without them. I now have another issue with the lens and would like Revo to sterp up to the plate and replace the lenses at no charge or the entire pair of glasses. I have purchased all of my glases for the past two years at the SunGlass Hut in Westshore Mall in Tampa Fl. The manager Jerry has encourged me to write this letter. Please contact me and let me know what Revo is willing to do to keep this valued customer happy. I thank you in advance. Douglas L.

I recieved a letter from them stating that the broken glasses are not a defect and they would replace them for a reduced cost of $80.00 dollars! Let see, I open the glasses, they break, and it is not a defect?
