We contacted the number listed to reserve a house in Las Vegas, Nevada. The problem started immediately. They quoted us a price of $496 including the $100 non refundable cleaning deposit. After the receipt of the payment they told us the price did not include the cleaning deposit and that we had to send them an additional $500 deposit plus 100 cleaning. We had not choice as the reservation was not cancellable. They refused to take any credit cards or PayPal.


 


They called us the night before and advised us that they had double booked the home we were in and they wanted to move us further from the strip. We agreed so long as we were not charged any extra and asked them to shut the pool heater off because we did not want to pay any extra. They agreed.


 


When we arrive our code did not work. After resolving that issue the garage door closure had exploded all over the floor, the wall and the garage floor leaving a nasty grease odor. Additionally the house was 85 degrees and the cooler was not working.


 


The owner arrived at MIDNIGHT unannounced looked at all the grease but did not even bother to clean it up. Then he was rude about fixing the AC unit. We were left to clean up their mess.


 


When we left we cleaned the house and left it in better shape then it was when we arrive. They have advised me that they are holding by $500 deposit because the pool heater was on too high. They left the pool heater on, not us. Not one of us their touched it or even knows where to look. We had no lease agreement in reference to a pool because we did not rent a property with a pool they moved us because of an error on their part. Moreover, WE NEVER touched it.

We request a full and immediate refund of the $500 deposit.

I believe Gustavo Paz & Oscar Rios to be the same person!! Also the lady that answers the phone is a Judith Paz!! I would stay well clear of both as i am still waiting for my $3500 rent to be returned as he tooke my money and we had no property to rent!!

His email address now bounces back so if you have a phone number and new email address i would welcome it as i would like to catch up with Oscar Rios and advise the little lying bastard that i am still around and still waiting for my money!! Let me tell you if i catch up with him he will be in for a bit of an unpleasant surprise!!

We rented reserved a house from Oscar Rios & he totally ripped us off. His business license expired before we even contacted him & yet he still continued to collect money knowing that he had no properties to rent. We are now in the process of suing Oscar Rios.


We were in Vegas the week of May 13th & we went to Oscar's home address that is listed on his latest business license.

He called the police which turn out good in our favor & we now in the process of filing court paper against him. So good luck with getting your money back!

Have you had any luck on getting your damage deposit back? We just returned from our stay at this property. When we arived the property appeared to be only cleaned by the previous party. During our stay someone tried to serve papers on some unknown person. The office would not return phone calls and went directly to voice mail. We even tried to locate the office that we mailed the check to, however there is no office at that address.

We also made the mistake of renting the "Grand Chateau" from these jerks for our family vacation at the end of last year. Their customer service was absolutely horrible, the house was not clean, security codes did not work, there was leaks under the kitchen sink (with a bucket that overflowed), the fireplace in the master did not work, there was a babies dirty diaper left under the under the upstairs bathroom sink, we paid for the pool to be heated for 7 days - it was freezing when we got there and took 2 days to warm up enough to use, they ignored our phone calls while were there and now they have not responded to requests for our $500.00 security deposit. There's a lot more but I will keep this brief. I want to hold these people accountable and would like to hear from others who have been screwed. I have photo documentation of how bad the house was. Do not rent from these people, they are scam artists and will rip you off!!!

i rented a house from these people --i spoke to oscar rios and he was absolutely a nightnmare to deal with he was rude and condisending--he told me i could not change my reservation--could not cancel and would not let me rebook--wouldnt give me and penalty and a credit for future use--he was rude and said i was a spoiled little girl cause i wasnt getting what i wanted --

i tried to cancel the reservation more than 30 days prior--he wouldnt accomodate at all

my father inlaw had a heart attack and we had to cancel the reservation--or try to move it --- as all revevations are not able to be ccancelled--

he said becasue my name was on the contract and not my husbands that becuase it was his dad that had the heart attcak and not mine we couldnt change or cancel--but he said it it was my dad--then he would help us!!! WTF is that

after our conversation i was claled by the company that monitors their calls and transfers them--

an agent there told me that oscar treats all his customers like crap and that he couldnt belive the conversation we had had--he sent me a copy of it--

he also said that oscar has not paid them in 2 months----STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY CHANGES THEIR WEB ADRESS ALL THE TIME --DO YOUR RESEARCH

DO NOT RENT THESE PROPERTIES!!!


I booked this property sometime last year and immediately left a number of scathing reviews on YAHOO! travel. There were SO many bad reviews, YAHOO! removed the listing entirely.


I recently did a quick search, out of curiosity, to see if this company was still in business. To no surprise, the only review I found was a negative one on this site. The owners are rude, inept and offer almost no customer service whatsoever. Once I sent over the deposit and partial payment, speaking with any of the staff was a total headache. Utter rudeness and utter attitude. When I mail or FedEx payments via check I expect confirmation upon receipt. This, as a small example, was far too much to ask. I had to call to make sure the reservations were booked and things were set. Good thing I did as well, because the weekend before I was to get there, I called the manager ti find he had the wrong date in his calendar. This was proved by his utter suprise when I re-confirmed the date I'd be checking in.


By the time you check in, all you will want to do is tell the property managers off, however, there is a clause in the leasing agreement that affords them the right to break or change your reservation whenever they deem fit (as the other poster on this site referenced.)


The house (I rented the movie house) is small and misrepresented on the site. I assume the other properties are as well. It is too far from the strip to make the savings over a regular hotel worth it (again, represented incorrectly on the site).


Find another place to stay!

THE OWNER AND MANAGEMENT OF THIS PROPERTY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS. MY GUESTS AND I ARRIVED THERE FOR MY WEDDING. WE RENTED TWO ADDITIONAL VACATION PROPERTIES WHICH WERE LUXURIOUS AND WE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH WHATSOEVER. WHEN WE ARRIVED, OUR CODE DIDN'T WORK EITHER AND WHEN WE FINALLY CONTACTED THE MANAGEMENT-A LADY WHO GOES BY THE NAME JUDITH AT THE 702-810-0064 NUMBER, SHE GAVE ME AN "EMERGENCY" ACCESS CODE. WHEN WE FIRST WALKED IN THE HOUSE-WE SMELLED A HORRENDOUS STENCH. THE CARPET WAS FILTHY-THE CURTAINS WERE FILTHY OUTSIDE WITH A POOLSIDE BED THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THROWN AWAY. WE NOTICED THAT THE SMELL WAS COMING FROM THE BATHROOM-AN UNSANITARY BATHTUB-TO BE SPECIFIC WITH BLACK MOLD AND BLACK DUCT TAPE COVERING THE FAUCETS. WE REPORTED THE CONDITION OF THE HOUSE TO MANAGEMENT NOT TO MENTION THE GREEN FILTHY POOL-WHICH JUDITH LATER HAD SOMEONE COME CLEAN AND IT REMAINED FILTHY EVEN AFTER CLEANING.

OUR GUESTS MAINLY STAYED AT THE OTHER VACATION RENTALS BECAUSE IT MADE THEM SICK AND THE CONDITION OF THE HOUSE WAS UNINHABITABLE-AND SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN RENTED. AFTER CHECKOUT-WE WERE INFORMED THAT OUR DEPOSIT WOULD BE RETURNED AFTER 48 HOURS.
