Replacement/exchange phone from LetsTalk.com LetsTalk.com 201 Mission St San Francisco, CA 94105 US www.LetsTalk.com I contacted LetsTalk.com to return my cell phone for exchange on Friday, May 30, 2008 at about 11:15AM (PDT). I indicated that I needed it exchanged right away and authorized a cross-ship guarantee with my credit card so they could process the exchange that day. They took my order for a different model replacement phone with a $99.99 premium, which I approved. They an RMA with return instructions immediately (over the phone) and confirmed it within the hour. I sent the phone to be exchanged back to them via Priority Mail that same day. When I saw no order or shipping activity on the replacement phone by days end, I contacted them Saturday morning (May 31). I was told the order for the replacement was sitting on a supervisors desk and couldn’t be processed until Monday They did say they would issue a complimentary upgrade to overnight shipping for the mix-up delay. They received my return phone on Monday morning. I contacted them for shipment status on the replacement and was told it would go out that day. When it did not ship that day I contacted them again and was told they did not ship the replacement phone because it was now $212. I explained the situation and they said they would `Take care of it’. I have called back daily and there is still no progress. No phone, never a return call and hours long hold times when I call them. The customer service representative since to not be responsive to issue. I order a phone base on a promotion that they had. I order the phone over the phone and the sales person take down the order. However, the sales person does not do the order correctly and therefore I am not qualify for the promotion. When I call the customer "NO" service, I got the run around. They keep transferring me to a suedo supervisor number, but always get the voicemail. When I get the extension of the customer service rep, the extension goes directly to a voicemail that was not setup. LetsTalk is a crook. They take your order and if you have any issue, good luck getting it resolve. Please pass the word. They did not tell me but they port your number over before they ship your phone. Trying to return a phone was very difficult. Custmer service is virtually non-existent. Just a bad company to do business with. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Friday, 05-Sep-08 11:42:17 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
