Bank of America US On June 25th my account was compromised and I got 5 unauthorized transactions for the total of $963.08. I called the bank many times, they disputed the transactions, but they will not credit my account back until I sent them a form with my signature. I spoke with several representatives (not helpful) and I kept asking for a manager or supervisor, until I spoke with Ms.Ivalesia Jacobs (Bank of America Card Services- ECS Claims Escalation Gate) [ivalesia.jacobs AT bankofamerica.com]. I explained her that I just moved to a new place, it's weekend and I need the money. Never mind that I never did the transactions and it was the bank's problem. I asked her politely to credit the money back. She refused saying that they need the form first, they will send it through mail, and it might take up to 8-15 business days. I told her that it's unfair since I didn't make any mistake and all of a sudden my account was overdrawn. Plus I needed the money. After long time talk, she agreed to send me the form through e-mail and if I can fax it before 6pm, she will personally take care of it. I immediately went to the streets to find a place to fax the damn form. After an hour, I did, and quite happy returned home. I had to pay $3 for that. Of course, no matter my phone calls, or the letters to her, I had no answer and the money were still missing. So, let's see: All of a sudden I have no money in the bank, I spend $3 because Ms Jacobs wants to go home, while she promised to fix this, and I spend the whole weekend with no money because I'm too small customer for Bank of America and definitely they don't care. How pathetic. I just think that the whole thing was unfair, plus Ms. Jacobs has no word. She just lied to me, never called me back as promised or anything. She just wanted to get rid of me. also wrote to the online customer service, explaining everything, including my case number, and a stupid guy named Rose Jimenez replied asking me to provide my case number. Idiots. Of course, I will close the account and get rid of it because first it's unfair, and second they have a very bad customer service.
