CareCredit Late Fee Scam

CareCredit US I have made 200.00 payments on my CareCredit account for the past two months since I've had the account. The minimum paymwnt due is 78.00. They say that they send the statement around the 7th, but it isnt postmarked and I don't seem to recieve it until the last week of the month. Since I don't get paid until the 1st and the payment Due Date is the 1st, 2nd or 3rd, for the past two month they have recieved the payment a day or so late and charged me 39.00 each month. I called to see about this and ask why they couldnt just apply half of my 200.00 payment to the following month, or at least waive the "late fee" since I am more than doubling my payments, and the customer service agent gave me the same line three times in a row in a deadpan voice "Your payment doesnt carry over". It sounded to me like she has said this a thousand times before to other people in the same situation. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and she said one would call me back sometime that is usually within 24 hours. I gave my work number and so there is a good chance I wont catch the call when it comes in. It sounds like this is a normal operating procedure and I'd be willing to bet that the company makes a lot of money off of tricking people with narrow due dates like this. Does anyone know if there is anything that con be done about this? I will do whatever it takes to see that this company stops overcharging good paying customers. You can view your statements and make your payment online (usually posted within 24 hours). Don't blame CareCredit for your unwillingness to utilize the most expediant payment method available.
