Verizon Wireless-Asurion Insurance-STINKS
|
Verizon Wireless...Asurion Asurion 1850 Midway Lane Smyrna, TN 37167 US Nice until they got my money...I had been paying insurance on my Verizon cell phone for the last 2+ years at $5.99 a month and just paid $50 to Asurion for a replacement. Their first rep. was as sweet as sugar. The phone came the next day and the first day it worked ok and then it started disconnecting all incoming calls on the first or second ring. Plus the front was loose at the hinges. Verizon doesn't even sell this model, Motorola E 815 any longer. I called Asurion for help on my land line and was prompted to say, "Eng. or Sp." and key in my cell phone #. Their phone system would not accept my cell no. key in from my landline...kept saying, "invalid number". I tried about 6 times and finally called them on my cell phone and got some robot person who didn't even listen to me (I was asking if there was a direct line without prompts that I could access to get HELP). She just kept repeating the same message over and over again, interupting and talking over me, about how I had to call on a land line (which I had done) and answer the prompts (which couldn't be done). Finally she abruptly told me this was an unproductive call (no kidding, even more unproductive for ME as it cost 35 of my cell phone minutes) and said I should just go to my Verizon store (40 minutes away and I am disabled) and get it "fixed" sometime. Great guarantee! I am irate at this rude and terrible service and have cancelled the Verizon insurance on my cell and will have my husband do the same for his phone. Asurion is NOT worth the money (those 2 years of payments and the $50. would have gotten me a new upgraded phone)...and certainly not worth getting treated like crap. For a long time I paid FOR VERIZON insurance monthly, to have coverage on my cell phone if it gets damaged. When my cell phone broke I had to pay and additional $50 and send it back to you. After paying $50 I realized that my cell phone is working, and I waited you should send it back. Meanwhile I purchased another cell phone and when this broke I felt secured that I have the cell phone you will send me. To my disappointment, the untouched cell phone you sent me refused to work and did not charge. In short, I paid monthly insurance, additional $50, and received a broken phone. I hope you will take it into consideration. From: Message Author (click here to email author) Date: Monday, 29-Jun-09 11:47:15 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
