Debby's Petland in MA ( south shore area)

I found your website and honestly It made me overcome with joy to find this.. I know it was a long time ago&#160 but read my whole story.&#1607 1/2 years ago i bought my cocker spaniel at " debby's petland". They told us we had to pick out of a list of vets to go through to get my dog his shots and check up. They sent a report back saying he was perfectly healthy. The following days we brought my puppy home, his bowels where all watery and was EXTREMLY mellow for a 5 month old puppy we took him right to out local vet and he told us he had a deadly stomach dieses and very bad heart murmurs. My vet also told us if we hadn't bought him he would have been dead within a week. All he needed was medicane for his stomach dieses and heart murmurs to be healthy and the poor puppy was suffering. also&#160 a couple weeks later we noticed his eyes looked funny and we ended up having to get him surgery on both eyes or he would have been blind. Yesterday I went to one of the

most recent Debby's petland, that was opened up in the braintree mall a couple years ago. The puppy's where in small glass cubicals with feces on there back sides and sitting in there own urine. Alot of the bigger dogs were in tiny cages only enough room for them to take two steps. There was even two bigger dogs put in the same little cubical together. A few of the dogs where CLEARLY abused they were shaking and VERY frightened. The alot of the people who work at this place are EXTREMLY rude people and have no care or compasion towards these animals at all! You ask them questions about the animals and they know nothing about them, and give you attitudes unless they think your buying the dog. They dont let you play with the puppys unless you tell them your deffinatly buying them. They are all Between the pricesses of $500- $3000 for these sick abused puppy's that the adverage person couldn't afford to save them. I remember i asked them if they were

hiring about a year ago so i could go under cover by myself and see how bad it really is so i could take legal action . when i polietly asked if they were hiring they gave me a nasty look and was like uhhhh no!&#160 Recently After leaving the pet store i got in the car and i cried and couldn't stop. I dont what I can do But i have had a passion for animals since i was EXREMLY young. I really want to do something about this . So i would REALLY love it if you could help me get in contact with people in my area that can help me do something about this horriable pet store, and save all the poorly treated animals in this store. I have always felt that there was nothing that i could do then i came across this website and realised that there is something i can do :) im only going to be 22 in a couple days, my passion against animal cruelty is VERY strong. I believe if a bunch of people that lived near my area that always felt this way and just didn't say anything

or that people who also bought EXTREMLY ill puppy's from this place can all get together and stop this pet store and hopefully even close it down. Theres a Debby's Petland in The Braintree mall ( shoreshore plaza) and in the Taunton mall. If some one even went into this pet store they would see the horriable conditions of this pet store. thank you very much for your time. If your interested in my story i will go to my vet and get the documents from when we first got him and how sick he was. and i'll try and find all his papers from when they told us he was " healthy" when he was EXTREMLY sick..

i could not agree more.These poor animals are suffering. The debbys pet land iv been too is in the Galleria Mall in Taunton and after seeing what I saw I called animal control and the officer told me they can't do anything about pet stores. All i could think about were these poor animals! Together we can do something about this horrible place- please feel free to contact me.
