Circuit City Return and Poor Customer Service

I want to tell you that I WILL NEVER go to a circuit city store again, and I will be sure to tell everyone that I know that they should NEVER buy here again. I bought a TV on 5/10/08, the sales associate tells me that I have 60 days to return the item, I go to the store today to return it, and the store associate that saw me at the counter (Jatoya) told me, and I quote: "You Messed Up! ". This was her response !!! AMAZING She told me this when I informed her what the original associate told me about the return policy on 5/10/08. The original associate name is J. Sheriff. I called the "Cool Line" today to sort this out. The "Cool Line " number is 1-800-251-2665. The first person that I spoke with was Denise, she put me on hold and then the line went dead. Before she put me on hold she CONFIRMED with me that the return policy is 60 days. Then I called again and I spoke with Jeff, he left me on hold for over half an hour, supposedly trying to get in touch with the store manager, and nothing happened. He recommended that I call back in an hour. Before I hung up, he also CONFIRMED with me that the return policy is 60 Days on TVs. I called back in an hour and I spoke with Phoebe, she tried to get in touch with the store manager, during our conversation she ALSO CONFIRMED that the return policy is 60 days. She wasn't able to get in touch with the store manager. Nobody was picking up the phone. I told her that I wanted t go to the store (since I live two blocks from the store) and have the store manager call th Cool Line directly. She said that it would be OK. I go to the store and I finally speak with the store manager. Jarroet E. Mckinney (212-734-1786). I asked him to call the "cool line" and he refused, I asked him three times if he could call and he refused all three times. I quote "I am not going to call because I will not take this item back". Can you believe this?!?!? Once again I call their cool line, I didn't get the name of the last "Specialist", and he tells me something completely different from the three other specialists, he says that the return policy is 30 days, to look in the back of the ticket. When I told him what the other three specialist told me, he refused to accept it, even though it's probably written down on my case number. Basically, Circuit City, is calling me, a customer, a Liar, they are basically saying that I am making all this up. What a disgrace to customer service. No wonder consumer confidence is down. I am truly disgusted and disappointed with Circuit City, their stores, their associates and their costumer service specialists. It's impressive that someone at the customer service desk at a store tells a customer "You messed Up". AMAZING. My case number is 1882093 The ticket number is 169703302952. I know that in the back of the ticket says that the policy is 30 days, but the original person at the store told me is 60 days and three of your customer "specialists" in the Cool Line told me 60 days. I will never buy at Circuit City again, and I will make sure that a lot of people hear this complain. I am moving, so they may have my old address on record.
