auto painting TOUCH N GO PAINT & BODY 1704 Florence Rd Killeen, TX 76541 US none I WAITED 10 EXTRA DAYS FROM PROMISED DAY OF COMPLETION. ONE OF THE 1ST THINGS OUT OF THE RETIRED 1SG'S MOUTH WAS "I AM NOT DOING ANYMORE WORK ON THE TRUNK". THIS, THE MAIN ISSUE, WAS MASKED. YOU CAN STILL SEE THE OLD PAINT UNDER THE SURFACE. IT WAS NOT SANDED PROPERLY. THE OWNER BRAD WAS NEVER THERE WHEN I CHECKED ON MY CAR. EVEN HIS SON SAID THEY HAVE VERY INEXPERIENCED HELP. I BROUGHT A BODY MAN WITH ME TO VERIFY ALL THE MISTAKES. I WILL NOW HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY TO FIX THE ISSUES. I PAID $1000 AND RECEIVED LESS THAN $500 WORTH OF SERVICE. I HAD TO SPEND OVER $400 IN RENTALS(NOT INCLUDING GAS) FOR HIS SO CALLED 11 YEARS OF BEING IN BUSINESS. NO WONDER HE JUST JOINED THE BBB. In the time we have been in business (9 years). I can count the customer complaints on one hand. We have thousands of satisfied customers that you can ask. There are those customers that you just can never please. They are always looking for something free. In regards to his specific complaint, I explained to the customer what we would do to the car and he acknowledged by signing his name on the authorization line. He also told us to take our time with the vehicle and that he was in no hurry. He never informed me that he was driving a rental car. There are always two sides to every story as you well know. I challenge anyone who wants to verify our work to call or stop by our shop. As far as him bringing an experienced body man with him, why didn't the customer have him do the work besides bringing his car to my shop. I have very experienced employees working for me and they take pride in their work. The customer got a complete paint job to include body work that at any other shop would have cost $1500 or more. As I said, there are two sides to every story. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Tuesday, 01-Jul-08 12:45:54 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
