return policy Target Asheville, NC US I purchased an X-Box 360 for my son. I purchased it in March when I had the money and put it up until his Birthday in June. His party was on Saturday the 21st. He opened it up and was extremely excited. When he hooked it up it wouldn't even turn on. We took it back to Target where it was purchased three months earlier, but they refused to exchange it for one that worked. Why? Because my receipt was over 90 days old. But we just opened it up I told them. There was nothing they could do, they said. I asked to speak with the manager. She wasn't even a manager, just filling in. I asked to speak to the store manager. And they said he wasn't there. They refused to tell me his name and his working hours, for security reasons. (Wal-Mart puts the store managers name on the receipt.) They have lost my business forever. I know had it been Wal-Mart, they would have exchanged it for one that actually worked. Just for the record X-Box said they will repair it. But nothing is worse than getting the best present ever and finding out it don't work. It broke my son's heart.
