Dell Financial Bait and Switch (misleading sales process for their "financing" company)

Dell Financial told me that I would not start accruing interest for one full year but a year later I looked at my statement and to my horror saw a single finance charge for $256.00.

When I called Dell Financial the representative was VERY apologetic and immediately credited me $100.00 when I said that I was NOT told I would be charged RETROACTIVELY for interest if I didn't pay off my loan in full within 12 months.

Needless to say I immediately paid off the account (too late of course).

Apparently DELL FINANCIAL SERVICES has been found GUILTY in the State of New York for "repeated misleading, deceptive and unlawful business conduct,including false and deceptive advertising of financing promotions and the terms of warranties, fraudulent, misleading and deceptive practices in credit financing".

They just charged me a late fee as well! I am so pissed off I'm going to sue them.

Wish me good luck I hear they have an army of attorneys to suppress people just like me.
